We now have an operational toilet. The women's toilet was fixed by Jay Nobles. The men's is still in the process of repairs. It appears that the water softener is doing its job and helping the plumbing work better.

Raffle Chairman:------------ Larry Crass

-We have copies of the Raffle License available along with a cover letter with our Club Logo. I will attach each in the newsletter. Now that we have the License, we are hoping to find donors and have a better Grand Prize along with other quality prizes. This could enhance our tickets sales, thus more profit for the club.

-In order to get the raffle license, we had to set up a community service project. One of those projects is the ROAD CLEAN-UP! The 2nd of three clean-ups is August 5th. Meet at clubhouse at 5:30 P.M..

Land Report: -----------Dave Broughton

-A used Lawn Boy tractor mower has been purchased as our 2nd lawnmower. Jim Bodden found it for the club. I only cost $350.00 and is in great shape. Please read the instructions on how to start it.

-The John Deer mower is shot. The motor went out and would cost approximately $600-$800 to repair. We now have 2 riding mowers so we don't need to be sinking more money into the Deer.

-The Lawn Cutting Schedule is posted toward the back of this newsletter. Please read it and make sure you show up during your time slot. If for some reason you can't make it, please call someone to replace you.

Annual Summer Cookout: August 20, 2002 5:30 P.M.

This year we are having a Pig Roast for our summer cookout. There will be a charge of $5.00/person. This will cover the cost of the pig, corn, condiments, and all the beer/soda you want. The cookout will take the place of our August meeting. Come and enjoy the fun. This is always one of the highest attended functions that we have every year. Remember, this is MEMBERS ONLY, no guests.
