Blackhawk
Lake Recreation Area-Surrounded
by public hunting grounds, this area is densely
wooded and traversed by 11 miles of hiking
and cross-country ski trails.The park offers
123 open field and wooded campsites, 12 group
campsites, electricity and showers. Water
enthusiasts will appreciate 220 acre Blackhawk
Lake, where they can boat, sail, wind surf,
scuba dive, swim and fish. Other recreation
activities include sand volleyball, horseshoes,
bird watching, picnicking, and a nuture center.
Take Hwy. 80 south from Highland to County
BH. Go east on BH to the park entrance, Picnic
tables, picnic shelters, toilets, tent sites,
trailer sites, swimming beach, dressing rooms,
hiking, nature trails, cross-country skiing,
volleyball, playground, boat landing.
