Bass
Hollow Recreation Area-Located in
the southern portion of the county this park
offers five miles of scenic walking trails
and a picnic area. At 280 acres, its Juneau
county's largerst park. Take I-94 to the Mauston
exit at Hwy. 82. Go west on 82 to Union St.
and turn left. Follow Union St. to Hwy. 12-16
and go left, then right at Cty. K Go south
five miles on K to park. Picnic tables, picnic
shelter, outhouses, hiking.
Castle
Rock Park has over 300 campsites
on 160 acres, and is also located on Castle
Rock lake which is 16,000 acres. Amenities
include spots for tents and trailers, showers,
flush toilets, water, playgrounds, picnic
tables, swimming (supervised beach), park
officer, boating and boat access, fishing,
water skiing, canoeing, grills, shelter, electricity,
and concessions. Take Hwy. 58 to Cty. G. Go
east on G about 4 miles to park.
Kennedy
Park, on the shores of the Lemonweir
River, is situated within a 200 acre parcel
of County Forest. The park is located 3 miles
north of New Lisbon on County Road M, and
offers rustic camping with self-registration.
There are 12 camping sites that are on a first
come basis. From I-90 take the New Lisbon
exit to Hwy. 80. Take 80 south to Hwy. 12-16
and turn right. Follw 12-16 to Cty. M, turn
right and go about 4 miles to park.
Oak
Ridge Park-This
park offers seven miles of trails through
county forest for walking, cross-country skiing
and hunting. From I-90 take the New Lisbon
exit to Hwy. 80. Take 80 south to Hwy. 12-16
and turn right. Follw 12-16 to Cty. M, turn
right and go about 7 miles to park. Picnic
shelter, outhouses, hiking.
Wilderness
Park is over 80 acres and has over
100 campsites for tent and trailer, electricity,
toilets, boating, swimming, fishing, playground,
picnic tables, concessions, grills, firewood,
water, group camping, shelter, scenic trails,
boat ramp, water skiing, and showers. Take
Hwy. 58 to Necedah and go east on Hwy. 21
to Cty. G. Take Cty. G to 9th St. Picnic tables,
picnic shelter, outhouses, tent sites, trailer
sites, swimming, beach, hiking, playground,
boat landing.
