Canoeing the Red Cedar River, Wisconsin

An ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy both paddling and bicycling, this section of the Red Cedar is paralleled from beginning to end by a scenic, well maintained bike trail. The river environs are quite wild especially in the last few miles to Dunnville. The setting includes wooded bluffs, sandstone cliffs, and pleasant riffles. Always at least 100 feet wide, the river is good for beginners.
