Big
Hills Park-Located
on Big Hills Lake, this park is a popular
spot for fishing. Anglers can catch pan fish
and northern pike from the shore, or launch
a boat and hook them on the water. From Wautoma,
take Hwy. 152 northeast to Mt. Morris. Turn
east on Cty. W and travel 3/4 mile to Cty.
WW. Turn north and continue two miles to the
park. Picnic tables, outhouses, swimming,
playground, boat landing.
Curtis
Lake park-A
pretty one-acre spot, this lake is a popular
swimming and picnicking area. From the junction
of Hwy. 51 and Hwy. 21 in Coloma, take Hwy.
21 east six miles to Richford. Turn south
on Cty. B and travel 1/2 mile to Cty. JJ.
Turn east and go one mile to 10th Court. Turn
south and continue one mile to the park entrance
on the right. Picnic tables, outhouses, swimming,
playground, boat landing.
Flynn's
Quarry Park-Remnants
of old quarrying structures still stand in
this 48-acre natural area. The site has a
number of hiking trails. From Wautoma, take
Hwy. 21 east to Lohrville. Turn south on Cty.
EE and travel 3/4 mile to Cty. N. Turn west
and go 3/4 mile to the park. Outhouses, hiking.
Lake
Alpine park-This
lake is a sand-bottom manmade lake popular
with families. The lake provides swimming
and good fishing for the children. From Wautoma,
take Hwy. 21 east five miles to 22nd Ave.
Turn north and go 1/4 mile to the park. Picnic
tables, picnic shelter, outhouses, swimming,
playground, boat landing.
Lake
Huron Park-This
small site offers fishing, swimming and boating
on Lake Huron. From the junction of Hwy. 51
and Hwy. 73, take Hwy. 73 east to its junction
with Cty. P just past Plainfield. Continue
east on Cty. P three miles to 1oth Drive.
Turn south and travel 1 1/2 miles to the park.

Kusel
Lake Park-In
winter, this park features two intermediate
cross-country ski trails totaling 8.8 kilometers.
In summer this park is popular for swimming
and picnicking. From Wautoma, take Hwy. 22
north to Wild Rose. Turn east on Cty. A and
continue 4 1/2 miles to 24th Ave. Turn south
and go one mile to the park. Picnic tables,
picnic shelter, outhouses, swimming, beach,
hiking, nature trails, cross-country skiing,
tennis, playground, boat landing.
Marl
Lake Park-Swimming
is the main attraction at this 24 acre park.
A boat launch allows anglers and boaters to
enjoy the lake. From Wautoma, take Hwy. 73
west 1/8 mile to Cty. C. Continue east on
Cty. C six miles to 12th Ave. Turn north and
go 1/8 mile to the park. Picnic tables, picnic
shelter, outhouses, swimming, beach, playground,
boat landing.
Mt.
Morris Hills Park-This
park is the largest and most popular park
in the county. The 300 acre site is also the
county's highest point, offering a great view
of the surroundings. From Wautoma, take Hwy.
152 northeast to Mt. Morris. Turn west on
Cty. G and go 1/4 mile. Picnic tables, picnic
shelter, outhouses, toilets, baseball, tennis,
playground.
Otto
Brey Park-A
six-acre site on Mill Pond, this park is a
place for picnics and recreation. Water enthusiasts
can also enjoy fishing and boating on the
pond. From Wautoma, take Hwy. 21 east past
Redgranite to Hwy. 49. Turn north and continue
one mile to the park, near Auroraville. Picnic
shelter, outhouses, baseball, playground,
boat landing.
Pony
Creek Park-A
16-acre park accessing Lake Poygan, this site
offers handicapped accessible fishing and
a walking trail along the shoreline. A launch
is provided for canoeists, and picnic facilities
are available. From the junction of Hwy. 49
and Cty. H in Poy Sippi, take Cty. H east
five miles to the park. Picnic tables, outhouses,
hiking, nature trail, canoe landing.
Willow
Creek Park-A
quiet one-acre park, this park is known for
its trout stream. In the winter, the park
has a 2.4 kilometer beginner's cross-country
ski trail. From Wautoma, take Hwy. 152 northeast
to Mt. Morris. Turn east on Cty. W and go
1/2 mile. Picnic tables, outhouses, cross-counrty
skiing.
