Columbia
Park-An 80 foot observation tower
at Columbia Park overlooks Lake Winnebago,
a favorite of boat and fishing enthusiasts.
Located on the east shore of the lake, the
park offers 40 open field campsites, boat
slip rentals and a picnic area. Take Hwy 151
about 10 miles north of Fond du Lac to County
W. Go west on w. Picnic tables, picnic shelter,
outhoses, toilets, tent sites, trailer sites,
playground and boat landing.
Highway
45 wayside-This park is used primarily
as an access to Lake Winnebago. The boat launch
is suitable for canoes and car to[p boats,
and in winter months offers a spot to ice
fish.Take Hwy. 45 3 miles north of Fond du
Lac. The wayside is located on the east side
of the highway. Picnic tables, picnic shelter,
toilets, boat landing.
Hobbs
Woods-2 1/2
miles of interpretive nature trails wind through
60 acre Hobbs Woods which visitors can hike
in the warm months and shi in the winter.
Take Hwy. 175 south of Fond du Lac To County
B. Go west on B to south Hickory Rd and go
south. Hiking, nature trails, cross-country
skiing.
Northwoods
Park-35 acres
of undrveloped woodland in Northwoods County
Park provide opportunities for hiking and
cross country skiing and picnics in the midst
of undisturbed nature. Take Hwy. 26 north
about 4 miles from the village of Rosendale.
The park is located on the east side of the
highway. Picnic tables, hiking, nature trails,
cross-country skiing.
Waupun
Park-Red oak,
hard maple, white ash and white oak populate
the norteastern 40 acres of Fond du Lac's
largest county park, where a nature trail
winds through a scientific area.Forty two
campsites, with electricity and showers are
available. Take Hwy. 151 to Hwy. 49 at Waupun.
Go west on 49 to Cty. MMM and go north, County
MMM runs through the park. Picnic tables,picnic
shelter, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites,
swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing, baseball,
golf.
Wolf
Lake Park-divided into two separate
units, both situated on Wolf lake: the northern
portion has a swimming beach, picnic area
and playground. Wolf Lake is small but heavily
used for swimming, boating, waterskiing and
fishing. Take Hwy. 149 into the town of Marshfield
about 12 miles northeast of Fond du Lac. The
park is located along the highway. Picnic
tables, outhouses, swimming,, beach, dressing
rooms, playground, boat landing.
