Bear Point Boat Landing-Boat landing on the Menominee River. Take Hwy. 141 to Hwy. 180 near Wausaukee and turn east. Follow Hwy. 180 six miles to the boat landing. outhouses, boat landing.

 

Cox Boat Landing-Boat landing on the Menominee River. From Marinette take hwy. 180 northwest. The landing is 1/2 mile northwest of the junction with Cty. T. Boat landing only.

 

Crystal Springs Wayside Park-Stop to enjoy the scenery and an afternoon picnic at this five acre wayside park on the Menominee River along Hwy. 180. From marinette, take Hwy. 180 northwest four miles to the park. Picnic tables.

 

Dave's Falls park-Named after a log driver who died in a log jam on the wild Pike River, this park offers a scenic view of the falls as they pound through little canyons and rock outcroppings. From Wausaukee travel north on Hwy. 141. The park is 1/2 mile south of Amberg off 141. Picnic tables, outhouses, hiking, playground.

 

Dolan Lake park-Boat landing on Dolan lake in the town of Athelstane. From Wausaukee, travel north on Hwy. 141 to Amberg. In Amberg, turn west on Down Dam Road. Continue seven miles to Dolan lake Road. Turn north and continue to the park. Outhouses, boat landing.

 

Goodman park- This scenic spot on the peshtigo River features 100 foot hogh red pine trees, a bridge over Strong Falls and two day use lodges built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Goodman park's 240 acres encompass 15 campsites. From Wausaukee, travel west on Cty. C for 20 miles to Parkway Road. Turn south and go nine miles to Goodman park Road. Turn northwest and travel two miles to the park. Picnic tables, picnic shelters, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites, hiking, cross-country skiing, playground.

 

Lake Noquebay Park-Children can swim safely on the south shore, where the water is shallo and a bathhouse is located close to the beach. Picnic facilities and a boat landing are provided. From the intersection of Hwy. 141 and Cty. W in Crivitz, take Hwy. W east two miles to Cty. GG. Follow GG four miles northeast. Picnic tables, picnic shelter, outhouses, toilets, swimming, beach, dressing rooms, baseball, volleyball, playground, boat landing.

 

Left Foot Lake Park-Located three miles south of Crivitz, this park offers a swimming beach on 39 acre Left Foot lake. From Hwy. 141 in Crivitz, go west 1/4 mile on Cty. W to Left Foot lake Road. Go south 2 1/2 miles on this road to the park. Swimming, beach.

 

Little River Boat landing-Boat landing in Green Bay. From Hwy. 141 in Marinette, take Cty. T to Cty. B. Take Cty. B south two miles from Marinette to the park. outhouses, boat landing.

 

Long Slide Falls Wayside park-At this park, take a scenic hike and view the beautiful 50 foot Ling Slide Falls of the Pemebonwon River. From pembine, go north on Hwy. 141 four miles to Morgan Park Road. Turn east and travel two miles to the park. Hiking

 

McClintock park-This park's four wooden bridges cross rapids of the Upper Peshtigo River, offering a good backdrop for taking pictures and picnicking. The 320 acre park also has 10 campsites. From Wausaukee travel west on Cty. C for twenty miles to Parkway Road. Turn south and go 13 miles to the park. Picnic tables, picnic shelter, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites.

 

Menominee River park-Because it gets little use this park and its water have remained relatively pristine. Picnic here, enjoy the river, or launch a boat. Take Hwy. 180 north 13 miles from marinette to its intersection with Cty. X. Picnic tables, picnic shelter, outhouses, hiking, playground, boat landing.

 

Michaelis Park-This two acre park offers swimming in Green Bay and a spot to picnic. From Hwy. 141 in marinette, take Cty. T to Cty. B. Thake B south two miles to the park. Picnic tables, outhouses swimming beach, playground.

 

Morgan park-The 125 foot bluffs at one end of this park offer visitors a scenic overlook of Timms Lake. The 160 acre park has 36 campsites with electricity, a lodge, opportunities to fish and swim, and a boat landing. From the junction of 8 and 141, take 141 north past Pembine to Kremlin Road. Turn east and travel six miles to Timm's Lake Road. Turn north and go one mile. Picnic tables, picnic shelter, outhouses, tent sites, swimming, dressing rooms, hiking, playground, boat landing.

 

Newton Lake Park-This tiny park offers swimming on Newton Lake. From Crivitz, travel west on Cty. A through its curve to the north. Continue for a total of 15 miles on A to Orlando Road. Turn west and go one mile to Newton Lake Road. Turn north and go 1/4 mile to the park. Outhouses, swimming, beach.

 

Old Veteran's Lake Campground-Oak trees, sand beaches and a peaceful lake characterize this 80 acre park in the town of Stephenson. 16 campsites are available, and a hiking trail circles the lake. From Wausaukee, take Hwy. 141 south to Middle inlet. Turn west on Cty. X and travel 16 miles to Parkway Road. Turn north and travel 3 1/4 miles to the park. Picnic tables, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites, swimming, beach, hiking, playground.

 

Salor Boat landing-Boat landing on the Menominee River in the town of Niagra. From Pembine, travel north on 141 to Kremlin Road. Turn east and go 10 miles to Rattie Road. Turn east and go six miles to the landing. Boat landing only.

 

Thunder Mountain Park-This park is an undeveloped 160 acre area in the town of Stephanson. The park provides scenic views, peace and quiet. From Crivitz, take Hwy. W west 14 1/2 miles to Cauldron Falls Road. Turn north and go three miles to Thunder Mountain Road. Turn west and go one mile to the mountain.

 

Twelve Foot Falls park-Peaceful and out of the way this park is nestled in the county's largest forest just south of Dunbar. The falls is one of a string of falls on the Pike River. Campers can choose from 12 rugged campsites near the reflecting pool of the falls. Angler can fish the Pike River. From the junction of 141 and 8, take Hwy. 8 west six miles to Lily lake Road. Turn south and go two miles to Twin lake Road. Turn west and go 1/2 mile to Twelve Foot Falls Road. Turn south and go 1/2 mile to the park. Picnic tables, outhouses, tent sites, hiking.

 

Twin Bridges park-This park, less rustic than the others, receives heavy use for water skiing and power boating on the Peshtigo River's High Falls Flowage. Campers can choose from 62 sites with electricity. From Wausaukee, take hwy. 141 south to Middle Inlet. Turn west on Cty. X and travel 16 miles to Parkway Road. Turn north and travel 1/4 mile to the park. Picnic tables, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites, swimming, beach, dressing rooms, playground.

 

Twin Creeks Boat Landing-Boat landing on the Menominee River. From marinette, take Hwy. 180 northeast six miles to the landing. Boat landing only.

 

Twin Islands Wayside Park-This park is located on the Menominee River. From Marinette, take Hwy. 180 northeast 14 miles. Picnic tables.

 

Veteran's Memorial Park-The bridge over Thunder River Falls is the main attraction of this 320 acre park, where visitors will find 15 wooded campsites and hiking. From Crivitz, take Cty. W west 12 miles to Parkway Road. Turn south and travel three miles to the park. Picnic tables, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites, hiking.
