Chelsea
Lake Recreation Area-Known for its
excellent fishing and boating, this lake provides
a boat landing and a handicapped-accessible
fishing pier, as well as a pictureesque picnic
spot. From Medford, take Hwy. 13 north eight
miles to Chelsea Ave. Turn west and go 1/4
mile on Chelsea Ave to Fisher Creek Road.
Turn north and go one mile to Chelsea lake
Lane, then proceed west west 1/4 mile. Picnic
tables, picnic shelter, outhouses and boat
landing.
Diamond
Lake Public Recreation Area-Diamond
Lake contains a beach, boat landing and fishing
pier. Visitors looking for a picnic site can
use the picnic tables or shelter. From Lublin,
travel north about three miles on County F.
Then turn east on Diamond and continue one
mile to the park. Picnic tables, picnic shelter,
toilets, swimming beach, playground, boat
landing.
Lions's
Memorial Park-The
Chequamegon Waters Flowage, known for its
excellent fishing, is directly adjacent to
Lion's Memorial Park. Angler can hook northern
pike, crappie and bass in the flowage waters
Situated on a small penninsula in the Forest,
the park is also a nice picnic spot, offering
tables and a shelter. From Gilman take Hwy
73 north five miles to County M.Turn east
and travel three miles to Hwy. G. Then go
1/2 mile south. Picnic tables, picnic shelter,
outhouses, boat landing.
Miller
Dam and Boat Landing-Located
in the Chequamegon National Forest, this park
offers a concrete boat landing with access
to the Chequamegon Waters Flowage. The flowages
also gioves anglers an excellent chance to
catch bass, northern pike, crappie and bluegill.
The park includes picnic tables, an open shelter
and handicap-accessible toilets. From Gilman,
take Hwy. 73 north two miles to County G.
Turn east and continue four mils to the park.

Sackett
Lake Public Recreation Area-Known
primarily for its excellent swimming beach
and picnic areas, Sackett Lake has a shelter
with concessions and a bathhouse with dressing
rooms. The park also contains a boat landing
and a playground and provides good fishing.
From Medford take Hwy 64 west three miles
to County E.Turn north and continue four miles
the County M. Turn west and go 1/2 mile to
Sackett lake Drive. Then proceed north 1/2
mile. Picnic tables, picnic shelter, toilets,swimming,
beach, dressing rooms, playground, boat landing.
Taylor
County Forest-Separated
into three sections in the northeast corner
of Taylor County, the county forest provides
access to the Ice Age Hiking Trail and a multitude
of snowmobile and ATV trails. Visitors can
also find excellent trout fishing on the Camp
8 flowage, along with picnic tables and campsites
for tents and trailers. From Rib Lake, take
Hwy. 102 east two miles to Wilderness Ave.
Proceed east three miles to the park. Picnic
tables, outhouses, tent sites, trailer sites,
hiking.
Wellington
Lake Park-Although
it is a small park, Wellington Lake pffers
a swimming beach, boat landing and fishing.
From Rib Lake, travel 2 1/2 miles west on
Hwy. 102 to Wellington lake Drive. Then turn
south and continue 1 1/2 miles to the park.
